    Iron Bed
Frames
Looking for some iron bed frames?
While a lot of people tend to go for wooden bed frames,
there is also the option of going for wrought iron bed
frames as well. It really is a matter of personal
preference. If you want something that looks
traditional and more regal looking, you might opt for an
iron bed. If you want to go more modern, you’d go with
the classic wooden bed frame.
Iron bed frames are definitely not in
short supply though as you can find them at pretty much any
furniture retailer. One of the most popular retailers
that carry a decent selection of iron bed frames at good
prices is Target. I did some searching through
Target’s beds and after a lot of inspection, I came to the
conclusion that the following beds were pretty much the best
buys in terms of ease of assembly, looks, durability and
functionality:
1. Sanford Bed With
Frame
Specs:
• Stylish matte black finish adds
lightness to this iron bed
• Slight arch with heavy castings
• Made of metal
• Headboard: 52H" footboard: 31.25H"
• Frame Material: Metal
• Finish: Powder-Coated
• Care and Cleaning: Wipe Clean With a Dry
Cloth
This is a beautiful bed and it is strong
enough to stand up to a lot of abuse. This bed is
meant to be used with a box spring / foundation under the
mattress as well as with a bed skirt. If you don’t put
this on, you’ll end up seeing the frame.
As far as assembly is concerned, you’ll
need a mallet. The bed can be put together in a mere
20 minutes though. This bed will run you about
$220-$370.
2. Linden Bed With
Frame
Specs:
• The Linden is definitely a bed
that makes a statement
• A bold, dynamic sweeping headboard and matching
footboard
• Cylindrical bed posts in a striking matte Ebony finish,
give this bed a presence
• It can stand up to any décor, from strong colors to
wild patterns
• Available in king, queen, full and twin
• Frame Material: Metal
• Finish: Powder-Coated
• Care and Cleaning: Wipe Clean With a Dry
Cloth
This bed is beautiful as well, even
more-so than the previous one I think. The metal is
smooth and the bed is light weight but sturdy. It will
give any room you install it a much more classy look
provided you add the right kind of bedsheets to
it.
The frame doesn’t appear to be sturdy
however users who have had it for an extended period of time
say they have had no issues with it. This bed will
cost between $260-$440.
Now those are just 2 iron bed frames to
consider, both of which can be found at Target. Be
sure to do additional searching in order to find the best
bed for your house.
