Wooden Bed Frames - A Few To Consider

Looking for some wooden bed frames?  Once you’ve gotten a hold of a good mattress, the journey’s not over, you’ve got to search through various wooden bed frames and pick out a winner.  Buying a bed can be an expensive ordeal and not only that, but it can be a headache as well.

If you wind up getting a bed frame, you’ve got to worry about how well it all fits together and how clear the instructions are.  Never take something like this lightly, wooden bed frames can look great on the show room floor, but it may take you 3-4 days to setup, or sometimes, you may just not be able to figure it out!  I’ve heard several stories such as this before. 

Of course this won’t be a problem if you’re a handyman or know someone who’s good at setting this sort of thing up, in which case, knock yourself out with all sorts of complicated bed frames.

There are many different types of wooden bed frames you can pick up.  You can pick up a simple one with a headrest, you can get one with a headrest, drawers and armoir, you can get a bed which requires a lot of heavy lifting of planks to set it all up, there are all varieties, but seeing as how you’re interested in wooden bed frames, I’m going to provide you with a few good ones to check into:

The total bed weighs in at around 65 pounds.  This bed looks great once its fully assembled, and the drawer storage under the bed sure beats stuffing stuff under the bed.  This will save you a lot of room, especially if you live in a small apartment.  You can use the drawers to store clothes, extra blankets, sheets or whatever else you need to. 

Do keep in mind though that because this has 6 drawers, it is going to be a bit more complicated to assemble.  Just take your time putting it together and you should be fine though. 

This is like getting a dresser and a bed all in one, good value for the price. 

2.  Sweden Bed – Cherry (Full)

This bed is a great deal at only a little over $200 at Target.  It’s very sturdy and has a modern-danish look about it.  The bed will take you about 3-4 hours max to put together so the installation won’t be a problem.  Everything is included, including except for the screwdriver. 

This is a nice looking bed at a brilliant price, although you won’t be getting any extra storage space with it.
